Electric Power Plant
Energy is a key element of our operations. The power grid was specifically designed to meet the reliability requirements essential for oil production. It consists of four Combustion Turbine Generators (CTGs), each with a capacity of approximately 30 MW. The CTGs can be powered primarily by crude oil, as well as diesel or gas or a mix of fluids. In addition, the waste heat generated during power generation is recovered and reused in the crude oil processing process at Komé, contributing to the efficient use of energy resources.
The electricity produced at this power plant is used throughout the entire crude oil production chain, but also as an energy source for all the facilities and accommodation.
