Tchad Petroleum Company A new era for national energy
Explore the driving force behind Chad’s energy sector, where innovation meets tradition.
Our Story
Established in 2023 following Esso Chad’s departure, the Tchad Petroleum Company (TPC) represents a renewed vision for Chad’s oil sector — one of increased sovereignty, responsibility, and forward-looking ambition.
Our mission is clear:
- Optimize oil production to strengthen the national economy,
- Build local skills for a more autonomous industry,
- Adopt responsible practices to protect the environment,
- Support socio-economic development in neighboring communities.
We see oil as a true driver for sustainable development, with measurable, positive impacts for Chad and its people.
Between 2023 and mid-2025, crude exports have already generated significant state revenue, proving the country’s capacity to manage its resources efficiently, transparently, and independently.
